Heritage win - June 2019 - an upgrade on my existing 9.0. This is the beginning of the second trilogy of Hawkman in Brave and the Bold. Despite it not being a key issue or anything, there are a staggering 35 copies at 9.0 or above, with this book being 1 of 12 in this grade (as of April 2021).
Certainly, this is due to the popularity of Hawkman exceeding that of Cave Carson (whose issues have far less certified HG copies)!
Update - June 2021 - Heritage Auctions. A 9.6 copy of this book was one of five B&B's that were being live auctioned off on the afternoon of Friday, June 18th. I was unable to be watching live as I chose to go an disappoint myself on yet another golf course. However, I placed what I thought was going to be a reserve bid ($5,000 plus BP) which would hold up. Wrong, as it went for $6,000 plus BP. Not the end of the world I suppose. It was single highest graded though. I'm more upset about losing out on the #18 and #35 in those few moments, but if I won this and those other two on top of the other books, my bill would've been approaching $50K, so there's that.
