This issue was a cross roads for Hopgood and Kaminski's "War Machine" as a character, and a key moment in their run which would go on to show that they could create a viable character in place of Tony while weaving a great back-up story setting the stage for his return down the road. Classic comic book formula, but working out well here as it sets up a new franchise for Marvel in the "War Machine" book some months later.
This particular copy is another desirable newsstand of the era - books that I gravitate towards over the Direct Market editions every time if I'm given a choice.
