Doll Man #38 is referenced in Fredric Wertham’s “Seduction of the Innocent” (SOTI) in the text on page 388.
Wertham describes an objectionable comic story as follows “A man provides murder victims for his wife, who drinks their blood. He grabs a newsboy for her and she says over his bound body: ‘His throat is as white and soft as a swan’s! So tender and youthful!” This quote comes from the story “House of Vampires” contained in Doll Man #38.
