My breakdown of issue 2
Issue 2 picks up from issue 1 with Mr. and Mrs. Vasquez calling to check on the validity of the man that showed up at their home claiming to be Billy’s father, they also discover all six kids not in their rooms and disappeared from the house.
We find all six kids at the station looking over the Map of the Magiclands on the wall in The Station within the Rock of Eternity. They decide to take it to a vote on what area of the Magiclands they should visit first and decide on the Funlands.
The issue then takes us to Dr. Sivana at a Dr.’s office waiting to be seen while reading The Encyclopedia of Magical Monsters that we learn was recovered from the lost library of Luoyang. Dr. Sivana it turns out is under the control of Mr. Maxivermis or Mr. Mind as he prefers, and they are at the Dr’s office in order to steal the tongue of a medicine man for a spell Mr. Mind is working on.
Back in the Funlands they kids split up into three teams of two in order to explore the area and then meet back up in 1 hour. During this time King Kid the ruler of the Funlands finds Billy in the last page of the issue.
