This issue marks the end of the nearly 3 year hiatus of Metal Men in 1973, although only in the form of a reprint of Showcase 39. Some say the hiatus was due to falling sales, but who really knows? This is the Murphy Anderson File Copy Pedigree, and I also own a 9.8 WP acquired 12/05/2014. With a Pop of 2, I own both of the highest graded copies. Interesting how the title on the cover has "Starring the Unique...Metal Men". Also note the price has increased to 20 cents from 15 cents in 1970.
