1st appearance of Peter Parkers Parents. Oh no! Uncle Ben! Hope Peter still has some role models! The impact of Uncle Ben trickles down in this 9.0 off-white to white pages of ASM ANNUAL #5. Glad to have this as a representation of the past in Spider-man's Life! Ah Man "Foxing", ugh! I bought this already slabbed off of eBay, and I still think it's a fun cover too. Kind of trippy really. Nice green, yellow, combination of ill at ease perfection and portrays the disorientation. Really snaps the confusion and uncomfortableness of it all. Poor Parker has some deep thoughts to consider in Stan Lee writing style. Plots and twists can only take it so far, as somethings need to be a permanent fixture to build upon and complete the character personality and form goals to overcome. Such is a hero's life compared to their day-to-day antics of being everyday people!
Complete with a back cover picture of Marvel Cards now that CGC is grading those, card #1! Stating the origins of Peter Parker as Spider-Man, and also stating that his parents were somehow finished off by the Red-Skull. Dastardly indeed for any Marvel loving fan, those are some hard pills to swallow!
