Showcase #39 marks the 3rd appearance of the Metal Men and the first appearance of Chemo. The last two Metal Men Showcases are exceptionally hard to find in high grade. Grade-wise, this is the worst book in this set and only a fourth highest graded example, but it does hail from the prestigious Twin Cities Pedigree Collection. We acquired the book from the June 14, 2020 Heritage Auction. I keep looking for a higher grade replacement, but have not seen one available for years.
