Owner's Description
2nd Appearance of the Scorpion, a real stinger that has caused the Amazing Spider-man some heartache. The relationship is seemingly a stingers poison! A very fun cover and example of just what lengths the Scorpion will go to, to get that Spider-man pie in the oven. Parker will traverse his power as a Spider and learn what it takes to be the "Man He Needs To Be!" No longer pulling punches, that tail with a stinger tries to sweep the leg. Spider-man with his sense of wits will hold on to the end. It has the pull to gather more in a web, but don't spiders have stingers as well? Rest assured the Spider-Man will sling something other than timid behavior to stand up for what is right! He's learned that not all villains are to be reasoned with, it'll all be on the line in the end. Glad to buy this one already graded and not have to open myself to grade an older book so carefully, as some Silver Age is just too nice, and I can buy a reprint to read.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "Kung Fu Panda 4!" There is a Scorpion villain in the Nickelodeon series, and all the more reason for Spiders or Pandas to know Kung Fu! Jack Black voices this fun-loving sugar bear to the delight of audiences, as he is a bit fun-loving himself. All the more reason to know what to do when terror strikes innocence!
Grader Notes:
light spine stress lines breaks color;
light, multiple crease left top of back cover;
moderate wear all corners.
