Owner's Description
The Darkseid sketch and signature of silver by Neal Adams on 11/11/20 Hi Ho! Keep it Classy! On the mountain of judgement, it's on the cover...... the Darkseid of things. Got to have fun and splurge on the needless every once in a while, otherwise the collection would just be too boring. I enjoy the Darkseid to the end that it's a ruthless and persistent attitude that always takes him down. Somehow, someway, every time. Keeping it consistent the Superman seems down for the count and the coming of the supreme may seem infallible. To what end? To what end does this ruler want earth? Among many other ruled worlds by Darkseid, he seems stubborn and cruel to any end he sees fit. An under-thumb kind of entity when there is nothing kind about his desires that he'd like to see come to pass. He is the DC big and bad taking it to the street's vibe, with bulk and muscle.
The "pal the reporter" covered this too!
Complete with a Cryptozoic statue of the Superman saving Lois based on the classic cartoon. Those were the days, when the color was vibrant and not always a darker tone. With the lighter side of things these Superman Adventure cartoons were before anything Darkseid, but is where Superman started. With light colors, Superman still to this day stands for Liberty or what can be perceived as the lighter side of the "news!" A mild-mannered reporter chronicling even against the Darkseids of the world.
Grader Notes:
heavy creasing to cover;
heavy spine stress lines to cover;
heavy tears to cover;
heavy wear to cover.
