Issue #1 of The Walking Dead Deluxe was released on 7 October 2020.

First appearance of Rick Grimes
First appearance of Shane Walsh
First appearance of Morgan Jones
First and last appearance of Duane Jones*

*In the TV show season 3, episode 12, "Clear", "DUANE TURNED" is written in red capitals on Morgan's wall. Morgan confirms that Duane was bitten and "turned" by his own mother, Jenny.

This is the limited edition (LE250 / though 404 on the census at 2/4/2022!) Finch Sketch Cover available only from the Comic Vault Live event held on xx/xx/2020. The back cover carries a newly-commissioned Comic Vault Live logo (see photograph, right), the first TWD comic to do so.
