Owner's Description
Kirby all over the place, for a good story to be drawn consecutively in an ongoing series, woo-hoo! It's a Kirby-fest, and at 9.2 it's a no brainer! Unless you have the brain of the six-million-year man, with the presence of mind to destroy the future, then a Black Panther is a must. These stories spur the imagination with an old-time heroics theme, and the morals keep you balanced. Today we have the same type of illustrative prowess from a different perspective, yet Kirby had it in the beginning. Time honored traditions don't go down easy, nor without a fight to the finish. Now a successor to be in films, we've got the Black Panther and Kirby to thank for putting Wakanda on the map. Incidentally, the location is where only a few may find it, not unlike the Wonder Woman! There have been episodes of shows like the Collectors Call, on television, that showed off Jack Kirby Original Art, while mentioning the prices achieved in that market! These are the testimonies that can only be attributed to those like King Kirby. A pressable candidate. Not all Jack Kirby material was as a poet or even as a writer, and yet the overall body of work was poetic.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "Collete!" Another portrayal of a self-made artist and yet she was what you call a "ghost writer" and it shows how the fallout of success affected the one responsible for the work. A lot of similarity with Kirby, in that credit was taken but not in romantic form, basically success can be ugly or cause fallout. To say that Jack Kirby possibly was a similar ghost writer, is in the fact he didn't get as much acclaim for the same amount of work!
Grader Notes:
finger bends left center of front cover;
multiple spine stress lines;
small bend right center of front cover.
