Owner's Description
"Death" of Splinter! Can't keep a good rat down. The ninja turtle that is most likely to survive will go on to learn that even after the proverbial grave, there is ninja purpose. Pizza Time! A striking cover to say the least. Very moving, the issue is on its way to concluding the series yet will build and the limited series will take over as king for a while. I'm sure that anything permanent will be found in the character building, always like to keep my audiences riveted! Blazing Saddles. But I kung-fu with this hand! Beautiful cover and with a quality inking when printed. It does have a finger bend it seems and perhaps that was its grading downfall. Bought from LCS Awesome Comics with a bit of trade value that I had, and I am satisfied. I gave a bunch of under copies of $10-20 books. I may choose to forget what specifically, as they were special too, lol. I was in the mood for this slab, and I'm glad that I could make it happen regardless! At the time Stan Lee had passed and it was a last reaching out in effort by me to stay related to all thing's comics, as it is an "Excelsior Exclusive!"
With Splinter gone, a road is calling the Turtles onward and upward and ends up leaving "ONE" to fend for the group after the trials and Last Ronin! They even discover some Road Hogs along the way!
Complete with the poster that I bought my brother as a kid, as a back cover picture. I bought it for him at the time the Cowboys won the Super Bowl, and I bought me a Michael Irwin and Emmitt Smith poster lol. How about them boys! I taped my brothers TMNT poster to cardboard, as he was young, and I didn't want it to get torn. We kept up with it to this day!
Grader Notes;
indent right top of front cover.
