Owner's Description
Jim Rhodes replaces Tony Stark as "Iron Man." A perfect example of how some black covers can hide "staining!" Oye Vay, it isn't easy to trust a LCS grading. I could have sworn that this was going to come back 9.6, c'est la vie. It will eventually turn around for me, and I needed this to complete the Jim (James) Rhodes section of my Iron Man collection. I may need to keep an eye out for another, now that RiRi is displaying some culpability. The rest of the gang too! I've set my eyes upon them, a hammer in the grading room is not going to keep me down. ONWARD! Rhodes is viable enough as the Iron Man, until Tony finally gets back in shape. Rhodes then travels on down the line as the newly formed War Machine, and I've been able to obtain nice copies of those issues too! That isn't to say for sure that a press would have helped, but if the only grader's notes are "light bends", then it stands to reason on this copy, ahem, PROBABLY!
Signaling for help sometimes takes courage.
Complete with a back cover picture of a dice or board game called "HEROCLIX" that makes some miniatures. It keeps up as some kind of trinkets that can hurt if stepped on, ha, but that again means with a little articulation one can have appreciation for all genres! Sometimes it is better for friends to gather and "babble on" about those "Lost Tales!" Babylon 5, like Iron Man this issue, signals and projects the Lost Tales, as was a 2-episode disc set based on specific characters that then got shelved in 2006. This signal projector electric light movie promo trinket bodes well for casting a signal calling a "sober Iron Man!"
Grader Notes:
light bends to cover;
moderate staining to cover.
