Limited to 200 copies. Here we can compare the finished Jim Lee artwork with the sketch preview version of the art that was on issue 11F. Both are good - but, as I have spoken of before, the line work is obviously not the finished work. The full composition, plus the addition of color really make the cover bolder and more dynamic to me. I think the red hair and the cold steel of the armor are what make the difference to me.
Overall? well, I didn't buy this cover when it was issued - I could only afford a single cover and I chose 12B the Perez cover over 12A the Lee cover (the Gold Foil cover wasn't even an option at my LCS)
