Published in October of 1982, the legendary Frank Miller (penciller) & Klaus Janson (inker) rendered another unique Daredevil cover! This time, the minimalist approach with a plain white background and a small aerial view of Daredevil creates a subtle, yet powerful image! With that said, Daredevil is featured kneeling on the ground while embracing his head with both hands and crying out:
STOP IT! PLEASE…STOP IT…
From the initial viewer’s perspective, one may get the impression that Daredevil might be losing his mind or having a mental health breakdown! On that note, Frank Miller sure knew how to evoke a wide spectrum of human emotions through his artistry, which is another reason that makes him one of the all-time greats!
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED copy from charm-city-comics (via eBay) in April of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
