Daredevil #41 features the “death” of Mike Murdock’s identify + appearances by the Exterminator and the Unholy Three!
Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $105.
According to the CGC Census Report as of Tuesday, August 22, 2023, out of a total of 323 Universal copies graded, only 27 copies were graded in 9.6 with only 6 copies graded higher in 9.8!
With these statistics in mind, this represents an impressive rarity factor of only 8.36% of the total population!

Published in June of 1968, Gene Colan (penciller) & Frank Giacoia (inker) created a stylistically different but engaging cover in which a large image of Daredevil was outlined over a vibrant city intersection, which can translate into multiple meanings such as Daredevil committing his life to protecting Hell’s Kitchen and its inhabitants!
Furthermore, Daredevil’s bright red suit dominates most of the cover, with a contrasting dark and light blue background and yellow highlights in the title, so the final product POPS vibrantly upon first glance!
Silver Age Daredevil books (especially the 1st appearance issues) are still extremely undervalued in the current marketplace, so it would not be a bad idea to invest in high grade copies NOW, while they are still very affordable!
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED copy from Comic Link’s Focused Auction in April of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
