Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $8.
According to the CGC Census Report as of Tuesday, August 22, 2023, out of a total of 140 Universal copies graded, 73 copies were graded in 9.8 with 0 copies graded higher!
With these statistics in mind, this represents a rarity factor of 52.14% of the total population.
However, this is the much RARER Newsstand Edition Variant, which means that you can estimate that ONLY 2-4% of all 9.8s are Newsstand Edition copies!

Published in May of 1983, artists Ed Hannigan (penciller) & Klaus Janson (inker) rendered a stunning hell-themed Daredevil cover—perfect for displaying on Halloween!
The bright yellow and orange flames in the background really grab your attention, especially because it accentuates Daredevil’s attackers; a wild dog biting his arm and two guys armed with pitchforks—all depicted in black ink!
Furthermore, Daredevil is positioned in the center of the cover kicking one of the attackers in the face and propelling one of the pitchforks in the air, while the other attacker approaches from behind!
This badass Copper Age cover plays off the “devil” in Daredevil’s name and horned costume, to set up a striking image of “Hornhead” battling pitchforked “devils” in “Hell’s” Kitchen!
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED Newsstand Edition Variant copy from My Comic Shop in October of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
