Proteus Appearance. Issue #128 is part of this long run and about halfway through getting my slabs sorted in the registry. About halfway through completeness, I decided to go book hunting, and even though I was on limited funds. Seems to be the way it goes sometimes. I found this at the LCS Comic Book Asylum. They had some other nice books that I eventually went back for, but this X-men was the only slab that seemed decent and affordable. Mutant X or Proteus was just getting started in these issues, and I believe first appeared in issue #125, of which I have an 8.5. This 9.2 is a well centered copy and fits in just right. Glad to now be more than halfway through filling out this set of X-men! A nice addition and supporting the LCS is also needed right now, the best I can! We reach deeply into what is the thrill of the hunt to come away with some wins, and however they like to present themselves!
 The prescreen "pen" pick-up from the movie, "Room!" It was similar to Proteus, but Moira seemed to do it on purpose, regardless, once set free it was an overwhelming world.
Complete with a back cover picture of the insides to this issue from an under copy! Proteus this issue bends his reality to something ugly to punish Moira McTaggart for locking him up, as portrayed by one big happy family! Mutants are sought out for being "different", the X-men know they feel "ugly" to others, and rest assured here in this issue, Banshee gets a shot to the shoulder from Proteus who is putting on the mind-bending force with good aim!
