1:25 ratio cover. I don't have a copy of cover 15A, which this is the reverse image of - so all I have to compare it too is the 1:50 ratio sneak peak cover 8G - and I'm going to have to say cover 8G is better art. I'm never sure about these negative images that Dynamite offered. Were they set up and approved by the artist in advance? Or was it more of "We want a negative image cover for this issue and of our standard covers, this one works best." and Dynamite just rolled with it. In any instance, this one is ok - I guess. It loses some of the details that made the sketch cover interesting and it doesn't add anything to take the place of those details, so it is a weaker cover image for that.
And why did we wait seven months from the sketch to the cover? That seems a really long time.
Overall? Well, I didn't buy this from my LCS when it came out, so I can't say it worked to get me to buy the issue - but it isn't terrible either.
