1:1 ratio cover. Mel Rubi did a lot of covers for the 2005 Dynamite run and I think his distinctive style works well with the subject material. In this instance the overwhelmingly red background creates an image where Sonja doesn't really stand out - just due to the lack of color variation. Still - I like most of the cover. The silhouette of the fighters behind Sonja looks cool and her focus with her eyes and her sword on something lurking off scene is engaging. I don't know about the giant hand holding her up - but maybe that'll be answered on the inside of the book.
With the extreme red cover - the bar code is offensively white and really ruins the scene. This could have been a virgin cover or the bar code could have been on the back.
I don't have anything to say about Sonja's stance, since her feet are not depicted - but her two handed grip on her sword and the way she is weilding it are perfect. She 100% looks like a badass with a sword.
