Owner's Description

Supergirl tryout. Superman returns to Krypton. The return to home, from a home away from home, it has what it takes to become its own standalone tryout for collecting silver age! Having a time of it here myself circa 2024. I picked this #123 up on the first day of Fan Expo Dallas, and I paid $250, while the last sale I found of this grade was currently $150 when I got home. Ha-ha. I still trust the dealer is on the up an up, because last data points are sometimes on their own "standalone tryouts!" After searching further I saw a 3.0 sold for $210 or thereabouts recently, and I breathed a sigh of relief, all on Ebay. Whoever bought the last 3.5 there made out well at $150! Even though I had combed through the con full of Harley Yee and Duncanville Bookstore and other exhibitors with exquisite selections to find a smaller dealer that was also on his "A-Game", and though with a smaller presence I found this #123 quite surprisingly. It is a hearty accomplishment, which the cheer was a good medicine. Parking at the con with a radiator then emptying fluids all on the ground, only to not retain water after we went in and enjoyed the 1st day of the con, and then the tow home when there are 2 days left to the Comic-Con? Well, God had it worked out and saw I was taken care of without a doubt.

Complete with a back cover picture of the 1980's film on DVD, "Supergirl!" Of Course! Helen Slater splashes the eve of Krypton with a bit of 80's classic femininity and kid crush central. A friend of mine had this on Laser Disc I believe as a kid, or was it VHS I'm not sure. Maybe he owned both. To memories and the Girl of every 5-year-olds dream!

Grader Notes:
moderate creasing to cover;
moderate spine stress lines to cover;
moderate staining to cover;
piece out right bottom of back cover;
staple detached bottom of cover.
