Thunderball & Frog-Man appearance. Spidey is now feeling the distance in some of the situations with relationships during his downtime between stories. He is a bit mystified by the presence of the villains, as the time has come for their attempts at upsetting the apple cart. Spidey is also not revealing how he dropped out of school to spare Aunt May her good feelings and intentions, and only to find Mary Jane with her own character-building story of being engaged to someone else! While Parker is wondering how the Black Cat surgery will be paid for, he has told her not to worry and then kissed her goodbye the last they met. A person's first love notwithstanding, we all need to find the love of one laying down their life for the other. This is thought of love, that it be: patient, kind, long suffering, and not puffed up. In everything giving thanks and you will find the old path where the good old way is, and few there be that find it. Mary Jane? We know she is loyal and worth fighting for, sometimes a lot more so than a Peter Parker, Spider-man or not.
Complete with a back cover picture of the other prominent and bodacious lady within the realm of the Spider-man, the Black Cat, as she too is somehow caught up in the mix. Spidey, or namely Peter Parker, is showing up to be a good and nice guy, and that still has an opportunity to not finish last.
