Owner's Description
Romita Sr cover and we got a shocking display of the Shocker, Woo-Hoo, will Spidey break a sweat?!? This Half Price Books reader finds its way into my collection with the early appearance of the Shocker and bright colors on black background. Got to get Silver Age every once in a while, does a collection proud, and even can give some goosebumps. I could never do internet-based book reading, there is too much available at one time. I like to read as I buy. It gives a reason to purchase the raw, which I did for this issue then submitted to CGC, and it makes it sparce enough that you don't get older book reading burnout. Dwindling bin dives for this age of book in my area, and as of 2022, I'm having to buy already slabbed. It means these "raws" found are all the more appreciated for the time and effort going forward. I love these reader grades that keep the warmth of the hobby, knowing their past. Press Candidate
Complete with a back cover picture of the "screen" at the prescreen of "The Current War!" It took all kinds within the "Electro and Shocker" and the "Thomas and Edison" era, with waves and jolts. Starring Tom Holland who is Spider-man himself, in this period flick on inventing circumstances. The DC and AC current of this movie is akin to Spider-man this issue in deciding how to clear up the smear of competition and before Aunt May gets back from vacation. A shocker of a plot that will decide if he is up to this responsibility gig or what! Perhaps even 1.21 gigawatts, great Scott!
