Owner's Description
Preview book. 25 cents issue. John Ostrander text, Jan Duursema cover. Jan Duursema, Sean Cooke & Dan Parsons art. "Hauling out the oats" of what next could be found on stands? Only a quarter? Sparing no quarter at the same time, as in comes the cover, with it teasing some fiction fantasy play art. Whimsical inventiveness that went on to become a character all her own, with some qualms to how she would fit into media and the likes of fans hearts, as almost a favorite. Those scales weren't tipped, and no wool was over anyone's eyes, as the shenanigans and the like were due to those specific wiles. It geared up for a decent ongoing Legacy series with her front and center, at the beginning, with a properly named title, and with everything in between to carry over the nostalgia from the 70's! George Lucas could have had his way in some ongoings of all things Star Wars, but they've kept it canon for the most part among the readers.
A nice $1 find of a reprint that catches most people's eye, when a first print, as it is an Adam Hughes cover with a first appearance!
Complete with a back cover picture of the first ever trilogy of Star Wars in a DVD set, long for this world to be added and built upon from age to age. Taking it back a step to recalibrate before those lightsabers put an eye out, as Red Ryder has got nothing on an ominous Darth Vader!
Grader Notes:
spine stress lines spine;
crease right bottom of back cover breaks color.
