"Raiders of the Lost Ark" movie adaptation.
Marvel Super Special issue 18 included the movie adaptation of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The story was adapted by writer Walt Simonson (this is not a mistake as I know that Walt Simonson is most well known as an artist). The interior pencil art was by John Buscema and the interior inking was by Klaus Janson. The painted cover was by Howard Chaykin.
In the case of Raiders of the Lost Ark film, it is often considered the best Indiana Jones film (with the Last Crusade being a close second).
This adaptation definitely benefited from having the very experienced John Buscema and Klaus Janson provided artwork.
This adaptation also depicted a scene not explained in the original film to partly explain how Indiana Jones managed to stay outside the German submarine near the end.
