Set Description:
So many great adaptations and a few very unique stories that are not adaptations. :)
I must admit feeling bad taking the top spot away from Fantastic Firth – as Fantastic Firth has provided such wonderful historical descriptions and images from Marvel Comics Super Special.
I myself have had a strong interest in movie adaptations ever since I was a kid in the 1980s. I started a collection of ‘reading copies’ of most of this series back in 1997.
In 2008, I began building a CGC set. At one time, most of my original CGC set were comprised of my own submissions. However, after 2010, I made a significant effort to upgrade copies. This took a long time. At this point, less than half my current collection are from my own CGC submissions. I still have all my original reading copies of course. :)
Thank you so much for reading my description. In the upcoming year, I hope to provide full descriptions of each of the issues.
2026 Updates. I have sent almost every issue for ReHolder service (with the exceptions of issues 22 and 25 which were standard size comics and already in modern configuration holders). Upon having the books ReHoldered, I have added images of all books to enable this set to conform with the September 19th 2025 "Public Service Announcement - Scanned Slabs - Images for Your Sets" to enable this set to be eligible to win in the major award categories (if only I were to be so lucky :) )
