Owner's Description
The Metal Men assume human identities in Issue #37. We initially bought a 9.2, along with lower grade copies of issues #14 and #27, in the 5/30/2022 Heritage Auction, just to fill the slots. But we later found a nice WP 9.4 on My Comic Shop in March 2023. We upgraded in June of 2025 to a 9.6, which we found through eBay. Metal Men are rarely expensive, but when you find a high-grade example you need, it’s like finding a hidden Easter egg, especially a highest graded issue like this #37, which is tied with two others for highest graded in the census.
