Back in around 2016, when I was returning to specifically the comic hobby, Mike Zeck was hard at work signing and working with covers plus sketches and making a show of the turnaround that was his legacy. The Punisher as a character works on so many levels, but not so at the same time. As a read it is comparable to a compilation of time and efforts that put these reads into a drama of a character and plot, by sitting the reader back to let loose with how Frank would navigate. Knowing his history as we do that an anti-villain with a bigger stick, which is not always a fashionable nor sought venue of expression, and it makes for the grandiose explosions all the more real! In a day and age where you've got to stick to guns but more to the peace to wield what weapon you attain as the games in life are more a reality frame of mind, such is Life, such is Christ, and such is the cost of liberty and the pursuit of those heavy praised happiness dwellings that a river runs through.
