Owner's Description
1:1 ratio cover by Art Adams. Art is at it again - this time with over the top hair, an impossible body, a dead alien, and Godzilla in the background. I don't know what is going on - but that is very much in the spirit of the original series covers by Frank Thorne, so I dig it. Sonja's grip on her sword works (surprisingly enough) but standing on her tiptoe doesn't work at all.
I think this cover is a clear bridge between how Art depicted Sonja in 2005 with the early issues of this series and how he depicts her in 2025 - we're starting to get those soft, sort of elfquest like features here that'll become so prevalent in another 15 years.
Overall? It's just ridiculous enough to strike a chord with me. Yeah - it's beyond believable, but it isn't trying to be, and that's ok. So yeah. It works.
