Every superhero, or superhero team, needs a good villain. The NTT likely got the best villain of the 1980's (sorry Venom) with the first appearance of Slade Wilson, Deathstroke the Terminator, in this issue. Funny thing is, while Slade appears on the cover of this issue, he is the shadow in the background. The featured baddie on the cover is Slade's son, who is killed in this issue - - talk about motivation for revenge! This book is from my personal collection, but the signatures (both Wolfman and an artist's signatures from Perez) were obtained by par2ch at Megacon on 3/12/10. BTW, SS books, which are required to be signed under the watchful eye of a CGC rep, are totally undervalued, particularly when you don't even know how high the book will grade out after it is signed. I would rather have a SS book than a 9.9 book (or better yet, both!); First App. Deathstroke the Terminator.
