STORY 1: Sinestro, using a yellow power ring of his own creation, escapes his imprisonment and captures Green Lantern, telling him he intends to revenge himself on the Green Lantern Corps and the Guardians of the Universe. STORY 2: During a political campaign for Jack Jordan, whose brothers Hal and Jim give him all the help they can, reporter Sue Williams becomes convinced that Jim Jordan is secretly Green Lantern.
