This was also the first issue with the title logo change. It is signed by Sienkiewicz. The yellow label works well with the cover, too.
And there he is, David Charles Haller, otherwise known as Legion, Professor Xavier's psychically screwed up son.
Story Title: Legion
Summary:
Tom and Sharon, two normal people who's lives were completely changed both physically and ability-wise by the demon Bear back in issue #20, are on Muir Isle and have been assigned by Moira MacTaggert to watch over David Haler, Prof X's psychically challenged son.
David winds up in the throws of a psychic tantrum that he has no control over and blows up the lab and the side of the mountain!
Moira contacts Charles Xavier and he comes to help Moira, along with Cypher, Mirage, Wolfsbane,Warlock and Sean Cassidy (Banshee). Moira welcomes back Sean, her man, and The others and after a short mental conversation with Charles, and Warlock talking with the Black Bird like it was alive, they retire to a house on the island.
Moira and Gabrielle Haler discuss with Charles about helping David, without ever revealing to Charles that David is actually his son. While the Prof could examine their minds for what he knows they are hiding, he does not out of respect for both women.
Meanwhile, back in Massachusetts, the White Queen punishes Empath for his recent actions in causing Firestar to leave the Hellfire Club by placing psychic inhibitors in his mind so that he cannot use his empathic abilities until she chooses to free him.
