The second cover there ever was. The first cover of the New Mutants #28 was lost. Once again have I mentioned I really dislike the USPS. Bill signed this in his patented white paint marker. I liked it so much I purchased them to be used for some of my books at ECCC 2014. The story was rolling ahead full steam, and another fuse was lit with a back story, one that includes the X-Men's first villain, Magneto.
And have you realized that Cannonball hasn't been on the cover for a while. This is the fourth issue that hasn't had Sam Guthrie on the cover. And maybe, just maybe the first time innocent Rahne Sinclair is on the offensive, of Course with Professor X "Standing" by your side, how can you not be on the offensive.
