The Book: This raw book was a gift from spideyfan76. Thanks, Sam! Additionally, it was shepherded by Sean, pressed and cleaned and witnessed by Rich Henn.
The Cover: I wonder how much influence the Sandman covers had on this cover. The date on this cover is 8/89, and with the 3-D effect of the coins thrown onto the prostitute's body, I have to believe the technique was an inspiration for Wagner. If those coins AREN'T actual 3-D coins, they are extremely well painted.
The Story: "A former Samurai's vision becomes his epitaph, and a legacy that is left to his 'Wife of the Heart.' But while a life may end, know Lone Wolf and Cub, a dream, nurtured in the breast of another, can live forever."
Second Pic: Daigoro is huge in Japan, so it really shouldn't surprise that there is a Daigoro kewpie doll.
