And here we are -- the fireworks producing, wise cracking Jubilation Lee makes her first appearance. Who among us knew she'd go on to put in a good run as Wolverine's sidekick? Then much later turn into a vampire once Marvel decided to ruin every character possible...but that's another rant.
Anyway, I've always had my eye on buying a copy of this book for obvious reasons, but I always held off because the price of an SS 9.8 typically equated to roughly three other SS 9.8 books. Finally, after a slight windfall that left some extra cash in the bank, I acquired the first appearance of Jubilee.
This copy was acquired from Doug Peters (eBay seller amea4682) sight unseen, and he certainly didn't lead me astray. Signed by writer/savior Chris Claremont and artist Marc Silvestri on 7/11/2015, the signatures practically jump off the cover of this book.
