I now have both the Mass pedigree and the Savannah Pedigree copies. In November 2016 I acquired this CGC 9.8 NM/MT stunner is the single highest graded example of this 1969 issue. With a Joe Kubert cover and a Bernie Wrightson interior, this issue is a very early entry in the Sword and Sorcery genre in comics, predating Conan #1 by over year. When I first got into comics around age 8, this was the first Showcase issue that I purchased, so I knew when I started a set, I needed a good representative of that issue, so I went with a nice pedigree.
