Owner's Description
In Issue #53, members of the JLA that rely on super-weapons (Green Arrow, Batman and Wonder Woman) have had troubles rounding up crooks because their weapons have been replaced with fakes. Finding a source of radiation to follow, the JLA track it down to the lair of the Treasure Thief, a criminal that uses a teleportation device to switch real items with counterfeits. While the JLA fight recreations of American legends like Paul Bunion and his Ox Babe, the goons hired by the Treasure Thief manage to make off with the device while teleporting Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Arrow to points unknown.
With the aid of Hawkgirl, the other JLA members manage to track down Johnny Marbles and his gang, round them up, take the weapon and rescue Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Arrow.
