Set Listing

Set Description:

Synopsis: We currently own 260 of the 267 books in this set with 250 of our books highest graded examples, 25 of which are single highest graded. We are working on finishing the set, but only buying 9.8s above Issue #100.

Background: While we have completed #1-100 with 90 books in the 9.6-9.8 range, we are at the beginning stage of filling out this expanded set. Most of the later books are not expensive, at least relative to the earlier issues, even for WP 9.8s, but the B&B’s, which we lack, will require a huge investment if we ever go there.

2021 Update: With the current decline in JLA prices, we managed to pick up high grade examples of Brave and the Bold #29 and #30 at substantially below guide. Of course, we still need a B&B #28 and a host of later issues, but it is very possible that we will complete the set in the next few years.

2022 Update: Biggest news here is that we picked up a Brave and Bold #28 in 9.4.

2023 Update: We have made zero progress in finishing this set in two years, geez.
