I have always thought this was one of the cooler later GL covers, as an attractive blonde starts to remove a mask reminiscent of those in Mission Impossible to reveal to our hero that he is in love with an alien. The book involves another clash between GL and a gang of aliens, in this case Hegorian students, and their leader, Kyra, who was Green Lantern’s love interest.
When I originally acquired this book it was the sole 9.8, but now there are two. Once gain, it happens.... We acquired the book in the 10/30/2011 Heritage Auction.*
2024 Update: And now there are three 9.8s, decimating the value of our once single highest graded book.
