My breakdown of issue 31
Children of the Gods Part 1 starts off here with a story arc that I personally enjoyed while other people absolutely hated it, this is a love it or hate it story line.
Here we find Grail the daughter of Darkseid in battle with a man called Paul Jackson, in truth he is Hercules the son of Zeus. The two fight and Grail wins, killing him and stealing his life-force. Turns out Grail is on a hunt to find, kill, and capture the life-force of all the old Gods she can find and feed those life-forces to her father Darkseid to help restore him to full power.
By the end of the issue a lawyer finds Wonder Woman to let her know that she is the heir to Hercules’s fortune and Darkseid is now a bit stronger. Side note, in Greek mythology a God when killed on earth ends up in Tartarus and is typically reborn unless there is a Godly intervention from one of the twelve major Gods.
