My breakdown of issue 11

The Lies story arc concludes with an ending that justifies the title. We find Steve and Wonder Woman back on Themyscira during a feast to honor Diana’s return but during the issue Steve and Wonder Woman realize that things aren’t right. Diana’s wrist starts to bleed in the spot that she was bitten at during issue two and a tree appears. Diana realizes that this isn’t Themyscira after all and that it all has been lies, she has never really been home, never, not once.
We find in a parallel story that Director Bordeaux gives the plant form of Urzkartaga to Dr. Veronica Cale and Etta Candy over sees this. Candy shoots Bordeaux who turns out to be an android and is now about to be attacked by Cale’s two Doberman pinchers called Terror and Panic.
