I'm guessing every comic book enthusiast has "The ONE". That one book they read so many times that they lost track and what they were left with was great memories of the story and even the smell of the book's ink. This is my "The ONE". When I was done with this book as a kid two things stood out to me. First, my favorite comic was in tatters from reading it so many times, and I would always remember being in my childhood bed and reading the story just like it was yesterday....and I have....from the feel of the blankets on my bed to the warmth and safety I felt listening to my still living parents (long gone now) in the background of my house to the world of Superman and Curt Swan. Who knew that one book could rekindle such wonderful memories....and a lifelong love of Superman. Thanks to a comic book artist by the name of Jeffery Moy, Superman visited me in Greene, Iowa in 1999. This year in June I will return the favor and visit him in Metropolis, Illinois.
