Set Description:
This is an 87-comic eclectic sub-set of the first run of The Walking Dead (TWD) comics. The set was my 11th complete TWD CGC Registry set, comprising a selection of issue #1 reprints, including:
• 8 (out of 9) Image Firsts reprints 2010-2022 (there was one further edition in 2024)
• 14 reprints from the 2013 Wizard World events
• 4 reprints from 2014 ComicCons in Arizona and Emerald City (Seattle)
• 46 reprints (23 with colour cover, and 23 with sketch) from the 2015 Wizard World events
• Reprints from San Diego/Escape (2014 - 2 variants), Image Expo (2014 - 2 variants), Black Friday (2014), the launch of a TWD-themed Hyundai Tucson (2014), Skybound's 5th anniversary (2015 - 3 variants), Cynthiana (2016), Diamond Previews (2017), and a Calendar Club edition (2017)
• The interesting Last Wine edition, an apparently poorly-implemented buyers' gift with co-branded wine from 2019
