Set Description:

I cracked #404 in the early 90s after my first dive into a Batman back issue box at my LCS. Up to that point I had been aware of Batman thanks to reruns of the camp TV series and of course the over-hyped Tim Burton movie. The cover is what caught my eye as well as the price tag ($5 was a lot to me for a comic back in the day). I knew nothing about Miller at the time nor about Year One, but I plunked down the five bucks anyway. One of the most rewarding $5 I've ever spent.
