This was the very first Scooby Doo book that Joe Staton ever worked on. I missed out on purchasing the original cover months previously. Dan helped me to get this done by Joe. It is probably one of my favorite remarques from Joe.
It is from his transition stage where he was doing black picture frames around small remarques and his newer method of outlining his remarques. The silver really helps to make it pop.

This was one of only two stories that Dan Slott did any writting for Scooby Doo. In this issue he wrote; "Legend of the Silver Scream". Chris Duffy would write the second story in this comic; "The Best Laid Plans". Dan Slott's only other contribution was in issue #50

Gardenstate Comic Fest 2024: Facilitated by Agents of Slabs
Billy West, had played many voices from my childhood of cartoon shows Doug from Doug rings a bell. He also was the initial voice for Casey Kasem when he retired from playing Shaggy but he only lasted for one movie before the voice went to Frank Welker. As this comic was from the year the movie came out, I went for it.
This was my blue slabbed book that I converted to signature series. Now only book on the census with any label!

eBay purchase, I remember going to Rockaway Mall for Black Friday shopping and buying my childhood copy from Walden Books with my Great Aunt, mom, and brother. When I saw this copy on eBay, I had to go for it. Only one in the registry.

This was done by a facilitator at C2E2 and was originally supposed to be signed with a Scooby remarque. The facilitator apologized and made it right by taking the slab to Heroes to have Joe add the remarque and they are grading it again for me.

I was mistaken with this one. I had misspoken on the day of getting Joe to sign and remarque. I had misspoke on which issues and switched two so this I label the Joe Staton Error as it was remarqued with a Shaggy and signed although he didn't work on this issue. Totally my bad!
