A little sabotage wasn't too good for the Young Allies as they drop a little high explosive in the Tokyo Water Works. Seems like Toro could just burn the rest of the dam down but hey who's complaining about the all-out action delivered ably by Alex Schomburg.

A Simon and Kirby cover start this Timely classic off right. How many more second bananas would you want on a cover? This one has the origin of Citizen V and it even has a Hitler appearance.

The is the final issue before a genre and title change into Jeanie. A higher grade example but I am not sure I like the big-headed Sub-Mariner covers and this one has his big old noggin front and center. Torch and Toro are ablaze too; although I can't figure out why they are melting the cruise liner - that's the ship being hi-jacked!

A great Schomburg war cover has the Torch and Toro wreaking havoc in Tokio. This one has action everywhere which is what made these Schomburg covers so good. Every time you look at it - you notice something new. A solid mid-grade WWII Timely.

A wildly fun post-war MMC featuring the Torch and Toro. Another one of those covers that you can gaze at for hours and not get bored. I swear that is Alfred, Batman's butler, getting ready to gored by the drill machine and I especially love the goon with the trident in the background next to the girl in bondage. High quality copy with very nice page condition.

Sure it is a low grade copy with brittle pages but you gotta love these early Timelys. Schomburg delivers a an insane cover in that pulp style. I have no idea what that machine does to that damsel in bondage but she will soon get a ugly looking helmet placed on her if the Blue Blaze doesn't hurry. And what a line-up to go along with the Blaze - Hercules, Invisible Man, Flexo, Dakor the Magician, and Dynamic Man.
