TWD #1 Store Variants - Summary
In October 2018, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the publication of the first The Walking Dead (TWD) comic,157 Store-unique variants of TWD #1, plus a Retailer Edition were published.

And so this is a 158-comic sub-set of my main TWD set Just Love the Walking Dead, which you will find here with full details of my other, multiple CGC award-winning, TWD collections in English and other languages.

I have 118 of these 158 comics graded - all at CGC 9.8. The other 40 are in my collection as raw comics. I will have these graded in due course.

Details of the Issue
This sub-set comprises 157 Store variants of comic #1 which were printed to order from international comic stores in a minimum order of 500 comics. This means that there are at least 157 x 500 = 78,500 copies of these comics in addition to the generic Retailer Edition.

Rarities
For a variety of reasons, including unsigned contracts, there are a small number of these Store Variant comics that turn out to be extremely rare:

• 2nd and Charles Edition
• Fandomverse Comics Edition
• Showcase Comics and Collectibles Edition
