Definitely one of my all time favorite cover from this series, top 10 for sure. Although they do kind of look like waiters in that attire. Not that I'd tell either one of them that though.
This book was signed by legendary writer Chris Claremont on 10/13/2012.
Thanks once again go out to Professor Pecora for the book and the scans.

Viva La Bandera! A great cover featuring a shocked Tiger Shark about to "reconnect" with Wolverine after he thought he left him pasted to a coral reef. Part of the outstanding Spore storyline.
This copy was submitted from my personal collection and signed in London by artist Klaus Janson on February 23, 2013.

When we last saw Logan in issue 20, unbeknownst to him but knownst to us, Geist had pumped him full of the tainted junk. This could be bad...

Spore! Now it's getting real as Caridad decides he should become his own brand of superhero.
This copy was an extra Universal 9.8 which I had picked up for cheap years ago, and after years of letting it sit on the shelf I sent it off to London where it was signed by artist Klaus Janson on Feburary 23, 2013.

An epic Wolverine vs. the Yakuza storyline begins, featuring The Thunderbolt! I especially enjoy the end where Tyger tells Archie to help Wolverine despite the high risk of shark induced death, and Archie politely declines.

First Signature Series attempt - 9.2. My pride hurts.
Second Signature Series attempt - 9.8. Pride mostly restored.
As our next look into the Weapon X program kicks off, we find a copy of Wolverine 48 signed by writer Larry Hama on 11/22/2014 at the Virginia Comic Con.

Wolverine continues his journey of personal discovery with Jean and Professor X in tow.
Seriously though, 48-50 really is a monumental point in the Wolverine saga as it takes us on one of the first of many journeys into the Weapon X program.
And on my second attempt, an SS 9.8! This book was signed on 11/22/2014 by writer Larry Hama at the Virginia Comic Con.

Wolverine 50, one of the coolest covers to come out of the early 90s. Despite the rigidity of the cover, I've found it surprisingly difficult to find many raw high grade copies of this issue.
As for this copy, I decided to think outside the box a little bit. Having already obtained my own SS 9.8 signed by Stan Lee, I really wasn't in need of another graded copy of this book. Not even to sell, since copies signed by Stan, Marc Silverstri, and/or Jim Lee (and Herb Trimpe for some reason) seem to pop up all the time. BUT, I can say I've never seen a copy signed by long time Marvel artist Tom Palmer, who contributed on the inks for this issue.
So, off this book went to the Baltimore Comic Con, where Mr. Palmer signed it on 9/7/2014.

Of all the books I've had signed and sketched by artist Mark Texeira, this one may very well look the best. A brilliant head sketch along with "Mark Texeira Wiz NOLA 2014" and a signature adorn the top of this book. It was signed by Tex on February 4, 2014 at the aforementioned Wizard World New Orleans.
Special accolades: First SS copy in the census.

Here it is, the book that ended my youthful boycott of the Wolverine title after what I still consider to this day to be the travesty that is the events of X-Men 25.
Anyhow, one fine day in the fall of 2000, I took a walk across the train tracks from work to my local comic shop and picked up a gold foil edition from the back issue box. I asked the owner what was up with the storyline lately, and he kindly informed me that the adamantium had returned. So...
Apocalypse? Wolverine, Horseman of Death? Adamantium? Let it begin anew...
As for this particular book, I'd originally bought it as a Universal 9.8 many moons ago. As time passed however, I eventually found myself in a quandry -- no Signature Series copy of 145 gold, and no Erik Larsen signature on any of my other 145 covers.
So, once Mr. Larsen popped up on the guest line-up for Mike Carbo's Big Apple Con, I figured it was time to once again roll the dice. Once again, the dice giveth. The man who wrote a very pivotal story in my comic journey signed this book on 3/5/2016, and it returned to me an SS 9.8.
