This was a comic I picked up on eBay many years ago and started my journey to obtain the entire set in 9.8 White pages. I recently sent back to CGC for a reholder so I could have a modern label. The comic was originally graded back in 2003.

This is my favorite comic of all time. First full appearance and origin of Hunter Rose. First issue of Grendel. Love the cover art. Had this graded at a 9.6 white page and searched for almost 20 years for a 9.8 upgrade. Decided to take matters into my own hands and had the book cleaned and pressed and submitted for a regrade. Was fortunate to have received the 9.8 White page grade.

Similar to Issue #1 I obtained this book as a 9.6 White page and continued to search for a 9.8 upgrade. After almost 20 years with no success, I decided to have the book cleaned and pressed and then resubmitted. I was fortunate enough to have it come back as a 9.8 white page.

Originally graded back in 2003, I picked this book up years ago on eBay. Then I patiently waited (about 20 years) to obtain issues 1 and 2 in 9.8. When that day finally came, I sent this issue along with Primer #2 back to CGC for a reholder so the entire set had consistent labels.
