There is some kind of deep artifactual nostalgic significance from a toy, video game, or LP still being preserved in original mint factory sealed condition and a comic book having crispy new unread pages as if it still sat on a spinner rack pulled straight from the warehouse box.

The greatly anticipated cliffhanger of where your favorite comic book issue had left off or the tremendous build up before holidays and birthday gift events for receiving toys or video games; all those memories that are now lost in time for eternity that we ache to return to and experience again.....

The closest we can get to time travel is collecting these slabs in the present day, which gives us something more powerful than just core memories can, by experiencing a perpetual loop of meaningful and blissful nostalgia.
